Updates of Canadian hazardous product regulations: Requirements for GHS and SDS

In January 2023 the Canadian government published new requirements to its Hazardous Products Regulations to align with the seventh revised edition of the UN Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS 7). This webinar provides an overview of the Canada Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHIMS) – the framework for implementing GHS and SDS in Canada. 

Furthermore, this webinar also presents recent updates relating to Bill S5 which aims to strengthen the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA). This bill aims to Strengthens the existing regulation for the management of chemical substances.
